About aMember

aMember is a flexible membership and subscription management PHP script. It allows to setup paid-membership areas on your site. aMember Pro also supports integration plugins to link users database with third-party scripts, for example: vBulletin, Joomla, WordPress (90+ plugins implemented). aMember is a perfect membership software for selling digital subscriptions and downloads.


How to integrate aMember with 2Checkout

aMember Settings:

  1. Sign in to your aMember admin
  2. Under Configuration select Setup/Configuration
  3. Under Plugins select twocheckout from Payment Plugins and Save
  4. Click the new 2Checkout tab
  5. Enter your 2CO Account # (2Checkout Account Number)
  6. Enter your Secret Phrase (Secret Word) (Must be the same value entered on your 2Checkout Site Management page.)
  7. Enter your API username and password (additional user that you setup in your 2Checkout account. API username will require both “API Access” and “API Updating” permissions. Instructions for creating API-only usernames can be reviewed here.)
  8. Save your changes


2Checkout Settings:

  1. Sign in to your 2Checkout account
  2. Click the Account tab and Site Management subcategory
  3. Under Direct Return select Header Redirect
  4. Set the Approved URL to http://www.yourdomain.com/payment/twocheckout/thanks
    (Replace http://yourdomain.com with the actual URL to your domain.)
  5. Enter your Secret Word (Must be the same value entered in your aMember admin.)
  6. Click Save Changes
  7. Click the Account tab and User Management subcategory
  8. Click the Create Username link and create a new username with API Access and API Updating selected for the Access type
  9. Click the Notifications tab
  10. Enable the all messages
  11. Enter http://www.yourdomain.com/payment/twocheckout/ipn as the global URL and apply (Replace http://yourdomain.com with the actual URL to your domain.)
  12. Save your changes
